We love the shoes, quality and service.

Initially unsure but I do a lot of walking rather than drive and wondered if rubber soles would be more comfortable than leather, they are . Soles are chunkier so a little more casual but good for a range from casual to formal. Up to Loakes usual standard of great everyday well made shoes at a good price. Initially felt a little stiff but break in very quickly within an hour or two of walking. I bought them on sale as a tester but would happily pay non sale prices.

Great looking shoes aand very comfortable. They do have a bit more space around the toes but this has not împacted the comfort in walking in them.

I was particularly pleased with the tips / tooling available to ensure I chose the right size. Also I was very happy that there was a good volume of G (wide fit) shoes in a brogue - as this is what i was looking for. I also appreciated the first time buyer discount of 10%. The delivery and info about returns etc was very clear and effective. I liked the fact the shoes came in individual shoe bags with a free horn and a jar of polish. All it all it felt like a very personal service even though it was online.

Excellent service from Herring's.  Due to a fitting problem I had to return the Barker shoes which was disappointing as I really liked the product.  Refund was dealt with very quickly.
