The Coltham Chelsea boot was featured on An Aspiring Gent this week. The Coltham is available in a great brown waxy leather perfect for winter. It is also Goodyear welted with a flexible leather sole and rubber forepart combining good looks with practicality. It’s handmade in the Loake factory in Northampton, England and available here.
British Choirmaster and Broadcaster Gareth Malone made a guest appearance on the Jonathan Ross Show on Saturday night along with Mo Farah and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Jonathan Ross immediately commented on the shoes he was wearing, a pair of Herring Fencote’s. The feature highlights the 12 models to watch this summer and what better way than styling them in a pair of unique Shrewsbury spectators. The Shrewsbury, the original gentleman’s sport shoe is a beautiful two-tone brogue in Navy suede and white leather. It is made in England with the Goodyear Welted construction.
This week, our Harvard II two-tone saddle brogue has been featured on men’s online site Brandish. The Harvard II is one of the newest additions to the Herring Shoes’ premium collection and is produced using the Goodyear Welted construction in the Cheaney factory.
Last week the Evening Standard featured our Herring Charley boot on the cover of their weekly ES magazine. The army inspired photo shoot was the perfect fit for the rugged Charley boot.
The Herring Charley boot is part of the collaboration with the writer, actor and travel adventurer Charley Boorman. Charley being a huge motorcycle enthusiast was looking for a pair of shoes that could as easily be worn walking down the street in a pair of jeans as wearing them on his bike.
