British Choirmaster and Broadcaster Gareth Malone makes no secret of the fact that he is one of Herring Shoes’ biggest fans, wearing his now iconic Herring Fencote shoes in the October issue of ‘The Lady’. In Thursdays London Evening Standard, Gareth Malone was featured with the Military Wives as they filmed their music video for the new album being released in November. However this was no ordinary music video, Gareth Malone was with 650 Military Wives that made up the choir making this the biggest video shoot in history. What better way to break this world record than to be wearing the Herring Jekyll whilst doing so! The Herring Jekyll is a beautiful black and white spectator made in the Cheaney factory, Northampton. It is on the 2003 sleek last and is made using the finest black calf and white caviar grain leather.
